Explore downtown, try new restaurants ( or drinks!), easily return to the house for late night drinks on the porch, or just to chill, relax, and visit with each other recounting all the fun stories of the day.
SO MANY activities to do in Pensacola, such as try a Segway tour, check out a Blue Wahoos baseball game, walk on the pier, hold hands and experience some of the most amazing color filled sunsets you have ever seen. Do as many of these activities as you wish, before or after the beach!
Feel invigorated, refreshed, sunbathed and happy with all the new adventures you experienced while enjoying fun, quality time together.

This is a super cute 92 year old shotgun that has been updated and refurbished, full of character and good vibes. Filled with lots of tasteful but fun color, a harlequin patterned hardwood floor, original tongue and groove ceilings.
This vintage home is in an eclectic older neighborhood that is quickly being updated, very near to downtown and tons of amenities.
A walk around the neighborhood will reveal a variety of very interesting architecture and historic family homes.
The house itself is a long shotgun with open inviting space from the moment you enter, through the living area, dining area and all the way through to the private brick courtyard and patio.
This is a shotgun style house, with the front porch and the back courtyard on opposite ends of the house.
The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the foyer outside the back Guest suite. These are shared with the host from time to time.
There is a second private suite in the back of the house, which is included with the entire home rental.
Each unit has it’s own private entrance, and you will have your own private codes for entry. in the front and the back. If you desire a separate private code for the cottage suite, that is available upon your request before arrival.
You are able to enjoy a relaxed but quaint downtown, literally 3 minutes away where you will find many interesting restaurants, tons of quaint breweries, outdoor cafes, wine bars indoors or al fresco patios. You may discover some hidden gem food trucks as well.
You will enjoy the neighborhood which is a charming eclectic mix of old and new, and is in the much desired Old East Hill neighborhood.
Be sure to check the “Visit Pensacola” website for the event calendar! We are known as the “Festival City of the South” and there is typically always something fun going on!
Guest access
The Downtown Shotgun Home is easily accessible. We do have steps at the front door, which lead to the porch. You may park directly in the parking spots in front of the front door.
Note: Please do not park in front of anyone’s driveway!

Bay Bluffs Park
If you like to walk through the woods on a boardwalk, and view the bay with beautiful scenery, Bay Bluffs is a public walking ( some joggers!) paths on boardwalks, located at 3400 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32503
Very easy to drive to downtown Pensacola in 3 minutes or less. Free parking on the street and easy to access; residential street.
Downtown area now also has very easy access to BIRD and EVOS Electric scooters! Pick them up and drop them off anywhere downtown; you can even drop then off in front of the house!
Uber and Lyft drivers are plentiful and easy to access. If you choose to use an Uber or Lyft, you are welcome to leave your car parked in front of the house here.
There is plenty of parking at Pensacola Beach, if you choose to go to the public beach there. Right in front of the big “beach ball” water tower. There is signage to guide you to parking, once you get to the beach.
*Blue Wahoo stadium 5 minute drive, tons of parking there if wish to walk the waterfront downtown.

Policies & Rules
Payment Schedule – 50% due at the time of booking and 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. If less than 30 days prior, everything due upfront.
Damage Deposit – A pre-authorization of $500 is due 2 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Cancellation Policy – Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
We love communicating with our guests. To ensure nothing is missed or lost in translation, we be via email or text. At time of booking, you will be required to read and sign a short-term rental agreement, provide a security deposit and provide a copy of a government issued ID for guest booking reservation. Once check out is complete, no damage is confirmed and it appears all house rules and check out procedures have been adhered to, your security deposit hold will be released. Please note that this may take up to 7 business days.
Due to same day arrival and departures, regretfully, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We ask that you do not interrupt the cleaning crew as this will only delay your check-in. The cleaning crew is not authorized to allow anyone access to the property. Should you arrive to town early, there is plenty to do and see! See our digital guidebook for ideas.
1. No pets of any kind.
2. The property is surveilled. Any tampering with/moving/redirecting/covering/disconnecting WiFi or devices or outdoor cameras or doorbells will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and you will be required to leave and vacate the premises immediately. Please understand that we do not sit and watch the cameras, but this is our home and investment, and we have these measures in place to protect our home and us. We want to ensure rules are being followed. There are no cameras in any private areas that guests have use of inside the home. There are a few closets in the home that are locked and not available for guests use as they are storage areas. Do not attempt to break in or unlock these doors as the inside area of these locked storage areas have surveillance. Please note by booking this property you waive your option to disable surveillance.
3. No smoking inside, please use the ash tray out back if smoking. Cigarette butts in the yard will incur extra cleaning fees that will be withheld from your deposit.
4. Guests staying longer than 1 week can request housekeeping services at an additional cost to provide clean linens and towels and clean living areas. Please contact the host for information on additional cost if housekeeping services are wanted.
5. Parties are not allowed as this home is in a quiet neighborhood.
6. For insurance and safety purposes, all guests must be listed and accounted for on your reservation/itinerary. No more than 8 guests may stay at any time.
7. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance when booking our home. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, weather, illness, emergencies etc, which could cause you to need to cancel your trip or end it prematurely. If you choose not to obtain travel insurance, please know that we will abide by our cancellation policy and no refunds will be provided should you decline to protect your travel. If you book this unit, that action constitutes agreement with this policy. Under no circumstances will guest receive a reduction in rent, be relocated at owner’s expense or be refunded for any equipment or amenity failure. Property manager/owner, upon being notified by guest of any malfunction will make every reasonable effort to have such appliances/amenities repaired. Replacement or repair during occupancy cannot be guaranteed. Issues must be reported to owner within 24 hours of arrival.
